Terms of Service & Refund Policy

By ordering services from AudiobookEditing.net you agree to these terms.

Quotes and payment

• Quotes are based on the finished length of your audiobook and are valid for 30 days.
• Work begins after you approve the quote and pay the deposit or full invoice.
• If the final finished length differs from the estimate by more than 10%, the invoice is adjusted at the quoted per-finished-hour rate.

Delivery and revisions

• We confirm a delivery date with each quote. Delivery starts once we receive all files and the manuscript.
• Edit + Master and Complete Production include two revision rounds. A round can contain any number of notes.
• Requests outside the original scope (for example new narration or added chapters) are quoted separately.

ACX compliance

If ACX or another retailer rejects files we mastered for a technical audio reason, we fix and re-deliver them at no cost. This does not cover issues in the original performance or content (for example misread text not marked for proofing, or recording problems we flagged before work began).

Refunds

• Full refund if you cancel before any work has started.
• If you cancel after work has started, you pay only for the finished hours delivered so far and receive a refund of the balance.
• Because editing is a custom digital service, completed and approved work is not refundable.

Ownership

You keep full ownership of your book, recordings and the finished audiobook. We may not use your audio in our portfolio without your written permission.
