Pricing FAQs
What does per finished hour (PFH) mean?
PFH is priced on the length of the final, edited audiobook — not the raw recording time or our working hours. If your finished book runs 8 hours, an Edit + Master project costs 8 × $75 = $600.
How do I pay?
After you approve your quote, we send a secure online invoice. Projects over $500 can be paid 50% up front and 50% on delivery.
Is the sample really free?
Yes. We edit and master up to five minutes of your raw audio at no cost and with no obligation, so you can judge the quality before you order.
What if ACX rejects files you mastered?
If ACX flags a technical audio issue on files we mastered, we fix and re-deliver them free of charge.
